Saint Agnes School Newspaper, “The St. Agnes Scoop,” Wins 7th Straight “Superior” Rating

Tuesday, October 28th

The Saint Agnes School (Chester County) newspaper, The St. Agnes Scoop, has once again won a national rating of Superior from the National Elementary Schools Press Association (NESPA). This is the highest rating that NESPA awards, and it is the 7th straight year that the Scoop has earned this recognition.

In a note of congratulations, Meredith Cummings, the NESPA Director/Evaluator, wrote, “As in last year, you should be so very proud of your newspaper. Please give your staff my congratulations once again. The St. Agnes Scoop continues to be a role model for the rest of NESPA to follow. You continue to improve and grow in wonderful ways!”

The school is very proud of all of its 4th, 5th, and 6th grade reporters, who under the guidance of moderator Noel Dolan, publishes four issues a year.
