Our Lady of Angels Regional School Holds Food Drive in Memory of Parish Deacon

Our Lady of Angels Regional School in Morton (Delaware County) has been collecting non-perishable food items as a service project since mid-November. On Thursday, December 4th, The school donated the items to Camp Out for Hunger, sponsored by 93.3 WMMR, in memory of Deacon David N. Fosbenner.

Our Lady of Angels student council members assisted in loading collected food items onto a truck which delivered the items to the XFINITY Live! parking lot. The student council also participated in the delivery.

In addition to the school-wide collection at Our Lady of Angels, students at Saint Dorothy, Saint Mary Magdalen and Saint Pius X schools, all in Delaware County, also collected non-perishable items in memory of Deacon Fosbenner, which were a part of the delivery on December 4th.  Combined the four schools collected 2 tons of non-perishable items. Deacon Fosbenner, a permanent deacon assigned to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Morton since 2010, died in September at the age of 69.

Our Lady of Angels Regional School was formed by the merger of Our Lady of Fatima School in Secane and Our Lady of Perpetual Help School in Morton (Delaware County) in 2012.
