Four Archdiocese of Philadelphia Elementary Schools Named 2016 National Blue Ribbon Schools

2016(b) Eagle CMYKHoly Family Regional Catholic School in Phoenixville (Chester County), Saint Genevieve School in Flourtown (Montgomery County), Saint Mary Interparochial in Philadelphia, and  Saint Philip Neri in Lafayette Hill (Montgomery County) were selected as part of the 2016 cohort of National Blue Ribbon Schools in an announcement made by United States Secretary of Education, John B. King, Jr., on Tuesday, September 28, 2016.  Holy Family Regional, Saint Genevieve, Saint Mary Interparochial, and Saint Philip Neri were four of only 329 total schools chosen nationally and four out of five Catholic schools in Pennsylvania selected this year.  Each of the schools was chosen for “overall academic excellence.”  This is the third time since the program’s inception that Saint Genevieve has been named a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.
