Nearly 1,300 Students Named To 2017 Archdiocese of Philadelphia Fall Sports Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Sr. Maureen McDermott, IHM, PhD, Superintendent for Secondary Schools, Office of Catholic Education, has announced the 2017 Archdiocese of Philadelphia Fall Sports Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll, which recognizes the high school student-athletes of the Archdiocese who earned first or second academic honors in the first quarter marking period while competing in cross country, field hockey, soccer, golf,  girls’ tennis, football and girls’ volleyball.

“I congratulate these students on a successful Fall semester both in the classroom and during competition,” says McDermott.  “Their dedication to academic and athletic excellence truly personifies the student-athlete experience.”
