ARCHBISHOP PÉREZ WILL VISIT SAINT HUBERT CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL FOR GIRLS AND CELEBRATE MASS IN HONOR OF SAINT HUBERT’S FEAST DAY

Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez will visit Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls (SHHS) in the Tacony section of Philadelphia and celebrate Mass in honor of the school’s patron saints’ feast day. Father Carl Pieber, C.M., Board Chair of SHHS and the Sub-Director of the International Miraculous Medal Association will con-celebrate.

Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls

As part of Mass and to celebrate Saint Hubert’s upcoming feast day on November 3, 2020 the Universal Prayer and a song will be sung in Spanish.  In addition, five students in the school’s Rite of Christian Initiation for Teens (RCIT) program will present the gifts to the Archbishop and will also be blessed.

Archbishop Pérez will receive a hand-made personalized embroidered face mask designed by students in the school’s clothing and textile program. 

Social distancing guidelines will be followed. The Mass will be streamed live on Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls Facebook Page @StHuberts.  

Following Mass, Archbishop will tour SHHS and visit with members of the school community. Portions of this part of Archbishop Pérez’s visit will be streamed live on the Archbishop’s Facebook Page @ArchbishopPerez.

Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls opened in 1941 and has been forming women of faith, integrity and leadership for the past 79 years. Students have gone on to become doctors, lawyers, medical professionals, prominent politicians, elected officials, business professionals, as well as successful mothers, grandmothers, and so on. Saint Hubert’s has over 30,000 alumnae living and making a difference all over the world.
