Archbishop Ryan Academy for the Deaf offers a pre-k to grade 8 academic curriculum in a bilingual (English and American Sign Language) environment to prepare each student for a life of scholarship. Opportunity for inclusion in other AOPS elementary classes give Archbishop Ryan Academy students a strong background in communication.

 

Overview:

Part-time Speech-Language Pathologist needed for September 2019 for School for the Deaf serving pre-school and elementary school levels in the Philadelphia area.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include speech and language evaluations and treatment; development, participation and implementation of IEPs.

 

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university

Working knowledge of ASL

PA Speech-Language Pathologist License

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.

 

This position is Part-Time / 2-days a week
