Job Description

Visitation BVM Catholic School is accepting applications for a Technology Teacher for the 2022-2023 school  year.  Teacher would be responsible for teaching technology from PreK-8 each week according to the curriculum and guidelines for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.  Teacher should be familiar with integrating technology into the regular curriculum as well as using 3D printers, robotic kits, and other technology into instruction.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties:

• Plan, develop, write and implement the Archdiocese of Philadelphia curriculum in the above subjects
• Work with homeroom teachers to incorporate technology into the curriculum
• Use 3D printers, robotic kits, and other technology during instruction
• Communicate with parents about students’ progress
• Establish and maintain an educational environment consistent with instructional goals
• Manage student behavior to encourage the best possible student educational experience
• Evaluate students’ academic growth, keep appropriate records, and prepare various progress reports and report cards

• Teacher certification
• Updated clearances
  • Pennsylvania State Police Background Check
  • Child Abuse Clearance
  • FBI fingerprinting
